It’s Monday, November 19th, 2012 and today we have another recorded mix\u00a0from\u00a0our recent event,\u00a0Electric Deluxe<\/a>\u00a0presents by Chicago based techno DJ\/producer\u00a0Jeff Derringer<\/a>. \u00a0In 2010, Jeff’s first EP appeared on the New York label Subtrak<\/a>, along with a remix by Samuli Kemppi<\/a>. The ‘Principle’ EP<\/a> found the ears of Ali Wells<\/a>, the UK producer behind Perc Trax<\/a> label, who went on to release Jeff’s next three EPs. \u00a0Jeff has since released records on Speedy J’s<\/a> Electric Deluxe<\/a> label, as well as Milan’s M_Rec LTD<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Jeff is the creative director and founder of the Oktave project<\/a>, an event series that showcases the finest in underground techno talent. \u00a0Oktave hosts events in both New York and Chicago, making it one of America’s most recognized techno event brands. \u00a0Previous guests at Oktave have included the likes of Chris Liebing<\/a>, Function<\/a>, Brendon Moeller<\/a>, Dasha Rush<\/a> and dozens more. Oktave has provided the platform for the New York or Chicago debuts of Cio D’or<\/a>, Silent Servant<\/a>, Edit Select<\/a>, Donato Dozzy<\/a>, Tommy Four Seven<\/a>, Rrose<\/a>, and Peter Van Hoesen<\/a>.<\/p>\n
