During the last decade Rotterdam home-based dj\/producer\u00a0Bas Mooy<\/a>\u00a0(1976) has been active on many fronts in the techno scene.\u00a0 Heavily influenced by a city that breaths industrial strength twenty-four-seven, he gradually found his way into creating an unique dark sound, which lead him to the forefront of the European Techno scene.<\/p>\n

In 2002 he kickstarted the already legendary\u00a0Audio Assault<\/a>\u00a0record label with label partner\u00a0Jeroen Liebregts<\/a>, which resulted in the birth of sublabel Arms one year later.\u00a0 Since then the Audio Assault family built a strong and constantly growing fan-base worldwide, showcasing an impressive catalogue with a constant output of stand out twelve inches, setting the standard for today\u2019s quality dark techno.<\/p>\n

Over the years Bas has been a hard working and devoted producer, spending many hours in the studio and putting out music on respected labels such as\u00a0Planet Rhythm<\/a>,\u00a0Roots<\/a>,\u00a0Fine Audio Recordings<\/a>,\u00a0Naked Lunch<\/a>,\u00a0Impact Mechanics<\/a>,\u00a0Submissions<\/a>,\u00a0Patterns<\/a>,\u00a0FK Recordings<\/a>\u00a0and of course his own imprints Audio Assault and Arms.\u00a0 His recent releases on Planet Rhythm \u201cUniform of the outsider EP<\/a>\u201d & \u201cBas Mooy vs Exium \u2013 untitled<\/a>\u201d got big support from the industry\u2019s main players such as\u00a0Speedy J<\/a>,\u00a0Dave Clarke<\/a>,\u00a0Luke Slater<\/a>,\u00a0Oscar Mulero<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Cari Lekebusch<\/a>.<\/p>\n
