Will Azada has actively DJed in and around Tennessee for a decade, flexing a versatile selection of techno and house. In March 2011, after the prior year’s stint running Knoxville’s infamous Headroom underground parties, Will established Proper Trax, dedicated to seeking out the Southeast’s underground producers for their unconventional approaches toward the timeless traditions of house and techno.
Like Will’s own music, the selections of Proper Trax fuse a range of sometimes unlikely techniques and influences into a coherent narrative of deep, yet floor-oriented cuts. Additionally, Will Azada has held to a steady schedule of wax releases for a number of labels, including Woods N Bass and Mystical Disco with forthcoming EPs for Finale Sessions and Cubera confirmed for fall 2012.
