DJ Christian Barbuto began his career in the early 1990′s while living in Europe as a competitive cyclist for his native Australia. Having frequented underground techno clubs in The Netherlands and Belgium, Christian’s foundation for dance music had been laid. In 1996, Christian came to the United States to the roaring rave scene of San Francisco. Big room sounds of the various sounds of house and techno, as well as the soulful smooth house sounds of the Bay Area club scene, have resulted in Christian’s sound today being an eclectic blend of deep funky organic rhythms that’s guaranteed to keep your ass shaking on the dance floor!
Now living in Austin, Christian is building a website under the heading of electricavenueatx.com to promote the dance music culture of Austin and educate new listeners to the global sounds of electronic music. As a producer, Christian has released his music on labels Bush Records, Raise Recordings, Harmonious Discord, Uniform Recordings, and Capital Techno Recordings.
