During the last decade Rotterdam home-based dj/producer Bas Mooy (1976) has been active on many fronts in the techno scene. Heavily influenced by a city that breaths industrial strength twenty-four-seven, he gradually found his way into creating an unique dark sound, which lead him to the forefront of the European Techno scene.
In 2002 he kickstarted the already legendary Audio Assault record label with label partner Jeroen Liebregts, which resulted in the birth of sublabel Arms one year later. Since then the Audio Assault family built a strong and constantly growing fan-base worldwide, showcasing an impressive catalogue with a constant output of stand out twelve inches, setting the standard for today’s quality dark techno.
Over the years Bas has been a hard working and devoted producer, spending many hours in the studio and putting out music on respected labels such as Planet Rhythm, Roots, Fine Audio Recordings, Naked Lunch, Impact Mechanics, Submissions, Patterns, FK Recordings and of course his own imprints Audio Assault and Arms. His recent releases on Planet Rhythm “Uniform of the outsider EP” & “Bas Mooy vs Exium – untitled” got big support from the industry’s main players such as Speedy J, Dave Clarke, Luke Slater, Oscar Mulero and Cari Lekebusch.
Be on the lookout for upcoming releases in 2012 on Mote Evolver, Perc Trax, Blank (Go Hiyama’s label), Gynoid, Nachtstrom Schallplatten, Audio Assault (Collabo with Radial) and working on the first releases and an upcoming album on my new label Mord, which will be launched early 2012! Also upcoming remixes early 2012 for Dead Sound on Elektrax, Go Hiyama on Gynoid, Mutate on Blank Code, Mark Rogan onDSNT Records.

LUIS FLORES – LIVE PA
droid l micro.fon l hidden agenda
In an era of countless techno and house sub-genres, classifying his sound is a difficult feat, and that is precisely the purpose. This is a free form project, in which the rules are simple: an inorganic techno base can be added or subtracted to, reshaped or molded into anything that comes up. Live shows, provisational in nature, can last anywhere from 1-3 hours, and the end result is unpredictable. The music is a hypnotic exploration of the possibilities of electronic production. The result of this method of composition is deep and dark, while maintaining a healthy degree of dance-friendly groove.
Luis Flores has one of the longest and most respected track records in electronic production in Mexico. He was part of Double Helix until its dissolution in 2002. He is a founding partner and creative director of Nopal Beat Records and Antena Discos. He is also one half ot the audiovisual project, Kumbia Korrupters, which has performed at MUTEK MX, Meet in Beijing and Borderline festival in China.

Radial is the techno music project of Jeroen Liebregts (1980). Jeroen has been running and producing for his labels Audio Assault and Arms since 2002, and also produced music for several other labels. In 2006 he finished his studies of electronic music at the conservatory of The Hague (www.sonology.org). The Radial project started out as a cooperation between Jeroen and Laurens van der Starre.. Jeroen: “Laurens had been a long-time acquaintance I met via some mutual friends and I knew of the work he did with Anton Pieëte, when he sent me a demo for my labels I was really impressed so that’s when the idea to collaborate came up.” The first release of the duo, Beton EP was signed by the infamous Slovakian label Numb Records. Since, their music has been appearing regularly on mix compilations, play lists, and charts of many top dj’s like Adam Beyer, Surgeon, Luke Slater, Oscar Mulero, Ben Sims, Regis, Rumenige, Loktibrada and many more. Jeroen “We were really happy to receive support from exactly the people we respected very much and were influenced by a lot, the release on Numb was a dream start.”
Other full EP’s include the Premium EP’ on Token records, Hair of the Dog EP on Audio Assault and the Planet Rhythm 2 part series Firm to Farm I and II. The success of the latter even resulted in the release of Radial’s first full album Deleted Scenes on Planet Rhythm records. Since mid 2009 Jeroen continued Radial on his own since Laurens took a career opportunity and had to quit the cooperation.

Rex Sepulveda hails from Detroit and is one of D-Records original producers. His long tenure in the Detroit Electronic Music scene has enabled him to develop a consistent ability to capture the subtle elements of music being produced globally and implement them into a sound that is distinctly Detroit while at the same time having an evolutionary sound. Rex is a consummate producer, spending most of his time behind his computer laying down amazing tracks, most of which are for use in his now epic live shows. You can find his work on Labels such as Plus 8, D-Records, Detroit Underground, Hej, Black Nation Records and Flumo Recordings to name a few. His tracks have been featured in mix CDs and reviewed in magazines such as URB, Wire, De:Bug and Mix Mag.
When Rex plays he is known to present a solid blend of minimal and tech-house, venturing up to banging acid techno if the crowd is up for it. Usually he likes to make things more interesting by experimenting with unreleased material to gauge the crowd response. Rex has had the privilege of playing alongside the likes of Rich Hawtin, John Acquaviva, Adam Beyer, Sammy Dee, Surgeon, Fred Giannelli and Vladislav Delay, to name a few. He has played parties, festivals and clubs in North America and overseas. Some of these sets can be heard on Paxahau Radio, under his various monikers.
